Robust, naturally antimicrobial and odour-resistant
The yarn for the Marathon MTS Explorer consists of 52% cotton and 48% polyester. The cotton is thereby wrapped in polyester and becomes very durable: The socks are durable even under heavy use and after frequent washing.
Certified material processing based on castor oil gives the fabric a natural antimicrobial and odor-inhibiting effect: the main cause of foot odor is the proliferation of bacteria. The yarn prevents their growth on the fiber and thus prevents the unpleasant odor. The material also absorbs moisture very quickly and feels dry for a long time. The result? Your feet stay clean, dry and well ventilated.
Innovative knitting technology for a perfect fit
Our innovative knitting technique makes it possible to create a sock that adapts completely to the natural shape of the foot. With conventional knitting machines, a certain width must always be set, which can no longer be changed. For example, the toe section has exactly the same width as the midfoot - this leads to unnatural proportions. This doesn't happen with our knitting technique: the toe pockets get the stitches they need - just as our feet are.
The 3D knitting technique makes it possible for the toes to get exactly the space they need. The heel and the ball of the foot are knitted according to the natural shape of the foot so that there are no creases.
