Knitido Dr. Foot Hallux Valgus Compression Bands Closed are half socks with a strong compression effect on the midfoot to support the foot in hallux valgus.
The causes of Bunion lie in modern footwear and closed socks. In them, the toes are laterally constricted and pressed against each other. The sensory system becomes dull, the permanent malposition of the constricted toes in the shoe wears in over time and becomes a chronic malposition. From the "foundation" of your body - your feet - it spreads through the whole body and leads to symptoms that one would not intuitively associate with the toes: a bent back, shoulder and neck tension, headaches, jaw problems, tooth wear. The whole body is thrown off balance by the "Ballenzeh".
Dr. Foot Bunion Toe Socks are toe socks with a compression band incorporated at the height of the arch of the foot. This exerts gentle pressure on the midfoot area and relieves the toes. The individually enclosed toes prevent lateral pressure on the toe area.
By relieving the pressure, the sensory perception of the individual toes is reactivated and the muscles are stimulated to move freely - you can feel this in the urge of your toes to explore your environment. The increased movement stimulates muscle (re)building in the toes. The toes are re-integrated into the movement sequences of the foot, instead of just “suffering” underneath them.
You can wear these closed Compression Bands discreetly under wide conventional socks or directly in your footwear or sandals in summer. You can also wear them comfortably while sleeping.
Treat your feet - and especially your toes - to freedom of movement. Wide shoes in which your toes have space, generous socks or toe socks that do not compress your feet are a good prerequisite for this.
