Heel, toes and spaces between the toes are particularly susceptible to germs. That's why we have incorporated a silver yarn on the forefoot and heel, which is interwoven with the cotton thread.
Toe socks improve the foot climate considerably by widening the spaces between the toes. This change in the microclimate – less temperature and less moisture – worsens the living conditions of the harmful germs. The silver thread, which lies directly on the skin in the spaces between the toes, can combat the germs locally.
